Monday: Spark, Triple Play, and Positive Actions: Mondays will be filled with activities designed to spark creativity and teamwork. Students will engage in our Spark, Triple Play, and Positive Actions programs, which focus on physical activity, social skills, and personal growth. It’s a great way to start the week with energy and enthusiasm! Additionally, we will continue to have snack time at the start of programming in the cafeteria, where students can enjoy snacks and work on their homework with the help of staff.
Tuesday: Art Club: On Tuesdays, we dive into creativity with our Art Club! This week, students will be working on a designed on t-shirts for their very own Minions-themed t-shirts to wear for the upcoming parade on Wednesday. Each child will bring their creative ideas to life, using vibrant colors and unique designs to make their t-shirts one-of-a-kind. The Parade will start at 1:30.Snack time will also be available in the cafeteria, allowing students to work on their homework with support from staff.
Wednesday: STEM and Science Projects: This Wednesday and Thursday will mark the start of parent-teacher conferences, so we will be picking up the kids earlier than usual. Additionally, the CVYC kids will be participating in the Homecoming parade, proudly wearing their Minion t-shirts.Wednesdays are all about exploration and innovation. Students will participate in engaging STEM and science projects, allowing them to experiment and discover the wonders of science. It’s a hands-on opportunity to enhance critical thinking and problem-solving skills! As always, students can enjoy snacks and receive homework assistance during snack time in the cafeteria.
Thursday: Bike Club: This Thursday will mark the start of parent-teacher conferences, so we will be picking up the kids earlier than usual. On Thursdays, students will join our Bike Club, where older students will refine their bike safety and riding skills. They will also have the chance to help younger students who are learning to ride without training wheels. This program fosters teamwork and builds confidence in biking abilities. Students will have snack time in the cafeteria beforehand, allowing them to work on homework with staff support.
Friday: Halloween-Themed Art Projects & movies: Friday will be a festive celebration of creativity!On Friday, we’ll continue our spooky celebration! The kids will wear their PJs and enjoy Halloween-themed movies. They will also participate in Halloween-themed art projects, showcasing their creativity through decorations and crafts. It’s a fun way to wrap up the week and embrace the spooky season together! Snack time will kick off the day, and there will be an opportunity for homework assistance in the cafeteria.
