Volunteer With Us!

Make a difference in your community through supporting your youth.  Volunteering at the Center Viking Youth Club is a great way to make a positive impact in the lives of those who may need it most. Come join us in teaching our youth valuable life lessons and, in return, learn more about yourself.

The Center Viking Youth Club is always looking for positive and energetic individuals to volunteer with our members! During a normal day of club, volunteers can expect to help with daily programming such as: helping members with art projects, playing board games, or getting physically active with our youth. Additionally, individuals can volunteer to chaperone Friday field trips to various locations. The Center Viking Youth Club is always looking for volunteers to assist with fundraising events like our annual Color Run or Christmas Party.
If you would like to volunteer with the Center Viking Youth Club, pick up a volunteer application. A one-time background check fee of $10 may be applicable per application. Individuals younger than 18 do not have to pay the background check fee.

Become A Crossing Guard

Crossing guards are part of the Safe Routes to School program. The Safe Routes to School program aims to improve the safety of walking and biking to school for students in the Center, CO community. By creating safer routes to school, students are encouraged to increase physical activity. This, in turn, improves health and encourages a partnership between the community and its youth.

We are currently seeking crossing guard volunteers. Volunteers will be responsible for assisting students in crossing the crosswalk either to the Center Viking Youth Club or on their way home. There are two shifts available for crossing guard volunteers: Monday-Thursday from 7:15am - 8:00am and from 3:30pm - 4:20pm.

Join us in promoting a healthy lifestyle by providing out youth a safe route to and from school! For more information or to become a volunteer please contact Brisa Macias at
