Monday, April 28th: Spark, Triple Play, and Positive Action. Mondays will be filled with activities designed to spark creativity and teamwork. Students will engage in our Spark, Triple Play, and Positive Actions programs, which focus on physical activity, social skills, and personal growth. Snack time will also be available in the cafeteria, where students can work on their homework with support from staff.











Tuesday, April 29th: Art Club & Gymnastics Class: On Tuesdays, we dive into creativity with our Art Club, where students get into the spirit of expressing their artistic talents. Alongside this, our gymnastics class helps kids build strength, coordination, and confidence as they practice their skills in preparation for their big showcase. We can’t wait to see the imaginative creations and gymnastics progress! Snack time will also be available in the cafeteria, where students can work on their homework with support from staff.










Wednesday, April 30th: STEM and Science Projects & Club will be Closing Early For Band Concert @5:00pm. Wednesdays are all about exploration and innovation. Students will participate in engaging STEM and science projects, allowing them to experiment and discover the wonders of science. It’s a hands-on opportunity to enhance critical thinking and problem-solving skills! As always, students can enjoy snacks and receive homework assistance during snack time in the cafeteria.







Thursday, May 1st: Pokémon & Bored Games Club + Early Release at 12:30. Pokémon & Bored Games Club. Thursday is an Early Release day, and students will be dismissed from school at 12:30 PM. We’ll be there to meet the kids at the school when school lets out. Afterward, students will join our where they can dive into the exciting world of Pokémon or enjoy a variety of board and card games with friends. This club encourages creativity, strategic thinking, and friendly competition. Whether they’re trading cards, battling, or playing a favorite board game, there’s something for everyone to enjoy! Please note: snack will be held later than usual on this day. Students will still have time in the cafeteria to enjoy their snack and work on homework with staff support. 🍎📚
Friday, May 2nd: Friday Programming at the club. On Fridays, the CVYC will be staying at the club for a day full of art, STEM, and SPARK activities to keep the kids engaged and entertained with fun! The students will enjoy breakfast and lunch in the cafeteria during the day. We will also spend time outside now that the weather is getting warmer to do some physical activities to keep the kids fit! This Friday the CVYC will be going to the Buell Children's Museum in Pueblo for the day. Lunch will be provided for the trip. Details about the trip will be announce in a post on Social media and on our CVYC blog.
